Dr. Gurmani was raised in Farming family, on the far he had to take care of a bunch of livestock, cats, dogs and chickens. He finished his studies in Pakistan in 2001 and from 2003-2006 he went to Oklahoma State University to finish his remaining study and get qualification to practice in USA. He started practicing in 2006 in Illinois and in 2008 moved to Chatsworth, CA to continue working in Mission Animal Care Center until 2018. After opened his own practice in 2018 till now called Topanga Veterinary Clinic.
